Policies and relevant information.
Drugs of Addiction Prescribing Policy - The Doctors at Golden Beach Medical Centre will not prescribe Drugs of Addiction or Schedule 8 Drugs to new patients at their first appointment. For existing patients requesting Drugs of Addiction or Schedule 8 Drugs a consultation is required with your regular doctor. Scripts will not be done over the phone.
For the safety of our staff and patients there is zero tolerance for violent, rude or aggressive behaviour at our practice. Anyone who acts in this manner will be asked to leave and the police may be called. It may also result in the inability to book further appointments at our practice.
Due to security and privacy reasons , we discourage the use of email to transmit your private health information to us. Should the need arise emails containing your personal health information will be encrypted prior to being sent.
Disability facilities: Our practice is designed for easy wheelchair access and we have a wheelchair available to assist you if required. Should you have special needs please discuss them with our reception staff who will be happy to assist.
